On our way out to support Smokin' Hot Butts and Racks at the Roman Roast on the River, Avery and I made a pit stop at LLCL Strawberry Farm in Rome to pick some berries.
The crop was pretty picked over, but Avery still had fun hunting for ripe berries. She likes the tiniest ripe ones (the babies) the best.
We didn't quite fill our bucket before Avery wanted to head to the festival.
But we had one more thing to do before we could head to the BBQ contest - get some homeade strawberry ice cream. Yum!
