Mommy & Avery Time

Between Greg's work travel, high school reunion and his other activities, Avery and I have had a lot of girl time lately. We've planned lots of fun activities to keep us busy from the Dunwoody Butterfly Festival to cupcakes, pedicures, and ice cream making. We sure have a great time together and I'm thankful for these opportunities to spend quality time together!

Pre-K Kid

We are fresh off a week at one of our favorite family vacation spots, Folly Beach, but before we could shake the sand off our flip flops, Avery started pre-K and Kinderdance.   She had a great first week at pre-K, despite having to wake up while it's still dark outside ;)  

 

Beans, Beans, the Musical Fruit!

The rainy summer has put an early end to our corn and zucchini, creating a space in our raised beds for a new fall crop.  Since I can "put them up" (dilly beans), sauté, roast, grill and freeze them, we decided to start some pole beans.   My little helper eagerly helped me start the seeds.
